I was married to the flame
But I was not with him forever
He left in madness
As did our sons
Who am I?

Nerdanel, the wife of feanor.
She was married to him, but he left and took there sons with him to go on a crazy revenge-mad-slaying-everyone-tour
My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

Liek... I think you're keeping me alive, at least if it's true that you live as long as you laugh, for you always manage to make me laugh.
Oh by the way.. you are of course right..

*shakes head* crazy revenge-mad-slay-everyone-trips are hardly a laughing matter

*grins*

Here is the next riddle

In the last month before I died
I suddenly grew younger, much younger than I was before
still though my body felt revived, and my mind grew stronger
The new-found understanding brought great sadness
And I had only barely enough time to correct my mistakes.
My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

You're Theoden King.
His mind had been inslaved and he had been aging beyond his years, but Gandalf freed him, although he died only a month after in battle
He discovered his son had died though and it naturally brough him great sadness.
He barely had time to correct his mistakes in the ruling of Rohan, but he did.

guh.. sorry, totally forgot.. I think I should start making my calendar remind me of this..
'm really sorry.. sad.gif

Here you go (at last)

I married the one with the cats
But was forced to part with her
Dying without an heir
My nephew took that place
Becoming a great man
Taking over the passion I had been famed for
I did much for my country
Expanding her forces in a particular way
Which is reflected in the name byname I am known by
Who am I?

Tarannon Falastur
The first of Gondor’s four Ship-kings

The son and heir of King Siriondil of Gondor, who was famed for his naval exploits, and founded the line of the Ship-kings that continued until the time of Hyarmendacil I. His Queen was the notorious Berúthiel, who Tarannon was forced to send into exile, so that he died without an heir. He was succeeded instead by his nephew, who ruled as the second of the Ship-kings, Eärnil I.

Found the guy on the internet.
NEVER heard of him.

I have ten toes,
Nine fingers,
And a war I've won
But to the world I've saved,
I can never quite belong.

Are you Frodo? Gollum bit off his middle finger, leaving him with nine; he won the war; but he felt he no longer belonged in the Shire.

Hey everyone, glad to be back... haha

After the manner of only one of my kin,
I sought refuge in the halls of the Earth
The delvers aided me in friendship and named me Hewer of Caves,
and so I kept my people safe in secrecy
until arrogance blinded wisdom and they were found
But I did not die with them,
I perished to save one whom I loved

Heyeee... I'm still alive tongue.gif
Are you Finrod Felagund? He went with his people to dwell in the Caverns of Narog, in Nargothrond, and the dwarves helped him. Felagund is a sindarinised form of a khuzdul word for 'Hewer of Caves'. It also says he was not the first to dwell in these caverns.
He died though to save Beren because of the oath he had sworn to Barahir unsure.gif

I must say I also completely forgot about this activity ^^'
As for your question: I'm good, more than that, actually. University only starts in about 2 weeks, so I'm currently still enjoying the free time biggrin.gif

Thanks for asking, and how about you?

I forgot too to be honest, well obviously. Wow, college starts much later for you. We have already been in school for a month. I really love it. My school is huge, so there is always something to do. We have over 40,000 students on campus. Unfortunately I have to write a paper for English, but otherwise, I really like it. How has your summer been?
