I followed my father against the anger of the Mighty
The wrath and grief overcame our senses and
we burned the works of our kin
I was one of the last two of our brothers
I stole back what I considered mine, even under watch
And without hope
But I had spilled too much blood; I could not touch it
From fire it came, to fire it did return

You are Maedhros.
He followed his father even though the wrath of the Valar was upon them
He was the last of the sons of Feanor to survive, along with his brother Maglor
He stole back the Silmaril but it burnt him so he cast it into a fiery chasm - and himself with it.

Hey nari, where did you come from all of a sudden?
I thought you lost, friend.
My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

I set out to reclaim a lost kingdom
stolen from my people by a worm of fire
Together with my companions I mastered many adventures
But I fell in the great battle
Now my tomb lies under the mountain
with the goblin-cleaver on top

@Liek: I came from...far away ^^
Don't worry, I was not lost. Just terribly busy *shakes head at RL*

Are you Thorin Oakenshield?

Oh! I forgot to add an explanation...
Thorin set out to reclaim dominion of the Lonely Mountain from the dragon, Smaug. He and his company, which included Bilbo, went through many adventures told in The Hobbit. He was killed however in battle and his ax, Orcrist, was laid upon his tomb.

I led the Fellowship through the forest of gold
where long I had lived beneath the sun
but I knew the time drew near
when the power of my lady would be diminished
and that I would have to leave the land of my birth
I feared that there were no mallorns across the Sea.

Are you Haldir?
He led the Fellowship through Lothlorien and he said that 'it would be a poor life in a land where no mallorn grew.'

I am the firstborn of the loyal gardener and his flower,
named after another flower my father found on his travels
on the suggestion of his best friend.
I was born in a time of renewed splendour for my people
and became known as 'the fair'

You're Elanor Gardner
Elanor is Sam's first child. Sam's referred to as the loyal gardner, his wife Rose is his flower
Elanor is the name of anohter flower that Sam encountered on the journey
Frodo suggested the name
The fourth age was renewed for all, much for the Hobbits though. They got recognition from all and Sam planted seeds to renew the sacked Shire
She was known as Elanor the Fair

I am the daughter of the lord who is not a king
I married a king who was not always a king
I made needlework while he was away
Who am I?

The next one...

I served a great lord
But not with a sword
Loyal forever,
Only his wine..
Well since I care for it I'll just call it mine.

I never saw harm in not staying awake
How could I’ve known they’d attempt prison-break?

You're Thranduil's butler. He takes care of Thranduil's wine, and Thranduil is a great lord. Being a butler does not involve carrying a sword. The insident you're speaking of was when he and the chief of the guard got drunk and Bilbo managed to steal the keys so the dwarves could escape.
