Here is teh next one:

My sense of fashion might be somewhat strange,
But I am merry, married and merrily married.
I am a creature of great power, but only in one place.
My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

Tom Bombadil
He dresses strangely, very bright and different colours. He's said to dress exenticly if I remember correctly
He is married to Goldberry and is very happily married to her. He is also a very happy character.
He has great power, possibly even greater than the Ring, it doesn't affect him at least, but he only has power in his own kingdom.

"Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow;
Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow."

You are very right

Yeah, I got it and started reading it today. I can't help but realize that some of it doesn't sound like Tolkien, the writing style and grammatical tendencies I mean. And, it's pretty much what's in The Silmarillion with a few additions and stuff. But, it's still worth checking out.
Where's Nin?

Sorry I'm late *again* rolleyes.gif at self

I am half a man
Yet I'm whole
I am not a coward
And many a tale has been told about me
Quite an accomplishment for one such as me
Not that I am greatly praised though
I am thought extremely wealthy
People are mistaken
I have had enough adventured though
Now I desire peace and quiet
Who am I?

I think you are Bilbo.. half a man but whole.. a hobbit.
no coward indeed
and for a hobbit it ios special that you are talked about
the hobbits thought him a bit odd
and he was thought very rich.
in the end. he just wanted peace.

Hm, are you Bilbo Baggins? From size he could be considered half a man, but since he's a hobbit and not a man he's whole anyway. I do think that the other hobbits thought him extremely wealthy for some reason when he returned from the Dragon adventure, can't remember too well though. At Lord of the Rings times he decides he's had enough of adventure and needs peace now, I think. unsure.gif

Here's the next

By one that should have been a brother
I was called ‘a simple’and ‘a fool’
For he took kindness for stupidity,
And despised the brown I wear.
But those that rule the sky thought differently
And I was ever a bird's friend
My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

I am the greatest of seven
And I am married to the greatest of all
There is only one above him
but He is different from us
I am remembered for one deed
Revered for ever for the light I brought the children
Who am I?

You are Elbereth, Varda
married to the greatest of the Valar, Manwë
with one above them that is more powerfull: Illuvatar.
and being the lady of the stars she brought light to the elves and men.

And there is a lot more to the tale.. but well.. I don't have a mind for gods, so I don't really remember.

Next one then:

When my journey started,
It seemed I was not suited for it
Too young, too innocent,
Perhaps a little too spoiled.

But I grew
Body and soul grew
Into a warrior, and even some form of a king.

And in spite of people claiming the opposite…
I am no fool.

Pergrin Took
He is the youngest of the four hobbits and he is innocent and sheltered as all hobbits seem to be, but he is more so because he is the youngest.
He grew after drinking the Tree-beard water and he became a thain which is the closest to a king the hobbits have.
he has been called fool of a took on many occations by a certain grumpy wizard, but really he is quite smart..
