Hey all!
Now that our trip to Middle-earth is over and everyone is trying to avoid being nostalgic, the HOLTStaff wants you to start using your brain!
This game's called "Guess the quote!" and you probably played something similar before.

The game will be based on quotes from "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. However, as those who will join us in this game might not have read the books,
we'll start by using the quotes from the movies made by Peter Jackson. Only when most quotes from the movies have been covered will
we start using other quotes from the books, ok?

So this is how it is played:

I'll pick a quote, any quote from the refered sources. No more than 2-3 sentences.
You just have to guess who said that, where and to whom!

Please note: You should only post your answer if it hasn't been posted before. If your oppinion is different from the ones that were already posted, then
you can go ahead and post your answer! This is about being quick too!

IMPORTANT: If two days have passed and no one has guessed who said that quote, you should post the answer and another quote.

HOLTSOMs: If you are a holtsom, you'll get 3 silmarils for each answer you got right.

Good Luck!,

The Holtstaff.

Easy one to start with:

"There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, in which case you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought... "

Gandalf said that to Frodo in the mines of Moria just before he figured out what road they were supposed to take afterwards.

"Blinded by their greed, they took them without question. One by one falling into darkness. Now they are slaves to his will. They are the Nazgûl. Ringwraith. Neither living nor dead."

Boromir said it during the council of Elrond in Imladris/Rivendell to the council at large

Wasn't that Arwen, to the river Bruinen, when she had come across with Frodo and the Nazgul were chasing them?

And happy birthday, Niniel!

That's Legolas to Aragorn as he returns after having been thought dead.

Elrond to Aragorn, at his mother's tomb in Rivendell.
