Best James Bond

Postby Polaris Black » Mon Nov 30, 2015 11:36 pm

The Bond blockbuster franchise is celebrating it's 50th year with no sign of slowing down. Through the years, the portrayal of James Bond has been influenced by current events, the producers, and the actor's interpretation of the character. People never agree when asked to rank them worst to best. These are the characteristics each actor brought to the role:

  • Sean Connery - charming and charismatic (1962-1971)
  • George Lazenby - one-timer (1969)
  • Roger Moore - witty and humorous (1973-1985)
  • Timothy Dalton - complex and intense (1987-1989)
  • Pierce Brosnan - suave, funny, and serious (1995-2004)
  • Daniel Craig - cold, brutal, and vulnerable (2006-)

Here's your chance to weigh in - who is the best James Bond and why?

Oh so not fair making me choose just one.... so when I was much younger Sir Sean Connery was the only Bond for me until I grew up and Daniel Craig is the Cat's Meow!!! No but really .... those two are my favorites ... so I loose at this question because I really can't decide.... oh man.... I may have to come back to this later... Tee-hee :D

Best Bond is unequivocally without a doubt Sean Connery. He has and always will be my favorite I also liked Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton.

The original always has the upper hand. Plus Sean Connery is really good. I grew up watching Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Daniel Craig also does well as Bond.

Sean Connery. Maybe it's the accent? Or maybe it's just Sean Connery. As Sirius wrote, the original always has the upper hand. Being awesome just sort of is frosting on the cake. :D

However, Daniel Craig is impressive as Bond, in a totally different way.
