Now that the Class List is up and there is a ton of choices, what do you want to take?

Now that I have gone thru the list many times and slept on my choices, I can say that it was a difficult choice being I could only choose 5 classes... BUT it was easy for me to find the classes that I want to take... Here is my list...

Care of Magical Creatures CONFIRMED
History of Hogwarts: The Founders CONFIRMED
Astrology 101 CONFIRMED
Werewolves 101 CONFIRMED

Unless I change my mind again, but I don't think I will, I am happy with my list. :)

I had such a difficult time trying to decide which 5 classes I'd like to take and I even kept switching my choices, but I finally came up with my class list. The ones that I want to take are:
- Forensic Anthropology
- Harry Potter Family Studies
- Muggle Puzzles
- The Magic of Disney
- The Treasure Hunt

So many good choices, but I think I've narrowed them down

Alchemy: Brewing Philosopher's Stone (It's alchemy...AND a Cassie class, 'enough said)
Game of Thrones (As a MAJOR GoT fans, I HAD to)
Poisons (Seriously cannot wait!!)
Scribbling Shack: Fairy Tales (Another Cassie class! *squees*)
The Rise and Fall of Lord Voldemort (Been waiting to take this one since last year)
Ravenclaw Prefect/Head Student/Student Teacher/ar1107

The classes all look good this year. So with careful consideration, I was able to narrow them down to 7 for now. Aside from my OWLs, the 7 possible classes that I'll be taking this year are:

1. Harry Potter: Family Studies
2. Broom Race: The Race Across Sweden
3. Ancient Runes (possibly)
4. Poisons (possibly)
5. Muggle Puzzles (some puzzles are fun)
6. Fantastic Beats (possibly)
7. Living La Diva Ancient Egyptian Culture (undecided, if there's room after all is said and done)

Wow... Great Choice to welcome me back

I honestly am having a really hard time to choose just 5 classes (apart from the OWL Class that I want to finally complete)...

The Classes are ones I've definitely decided on...

A Visit to Diagon Alley (if I get accepted)
Broom Race - The Race Across Sweden
Fantastic Worlds and Where to Find Them
Harry Potter Family Studies
History of Hogwarts - The Professors
Journey of the Hero
Magic of Disney
Persona, a Journey through Tarot
Treasure Hunt
Word Magic

So yeah, as you can see I still have a ways to go to narrow down my list :P
Many Thanks to the wonderful Efie from SparkleissaInk for both Signature and Avatar.

Broom Race: The Race Across Sweden
Harry Potter: Family Studies
History of Hogwarts: The Professors
The Rise and Fall of Lord Voldemort

I'm a wide-eyed newbie and this is my very first term, so I'm not even sure how many classes to take yet (I do have some free time in which to complete assignments and such), but I am interested in:
-Quidditch the Wizarding Way (as a sports fan, I feel very interested in this one)
-Languages 101
-HOL 101
-Astrology 101
-Potable Potions
-Ancient Runes

I clearly am interested in a lot of 101s. 8)

Too many classes that I have interest to W(OAOW) But fortunately (and suprisingly) I can manage to choose what classes I'd like. /exhales/

Beginning Hungarian (yay! I like to study some languages!)
The History of Witchcraft (have I mentioned that I like - no, love history?)
Harry Potter: Family Studies (no spesific reason, I just like it)
Advanced Potion Making (to continue my potion-making, please note I like to do everything completely - and note that my english is bad uhm.)

The list may be change cause of heart situation, uhm.
Cheers, Sierra.

So when the class list went up I perused through it and thought I'd chosen all my classes... and then I looked at it again today and went through the whole process all over again <_<

Literally 6 hours later, I finally made my decisions and am pretty pleased with my variety for the upcoming term. I'm taking...

Beginning Hungarian - Languages/language systems fascinate me and I love Sil's teaching style so this was a good match
Vampires: An Undead Odyssey - I'm more interested in the international legends/different "types" of vampires in this class than I am the heavy-ish literary side, but this class seems pretty interesting overall and I'm excited for the final project/getting to know a new teacher \o/
Forensic Anthropology: When Bones Talk - Another Sil class and something under the umbrella of anthropology; what more could I ask for?
Poisons - Another outstanding Professor and something semi-chemistry related. Between Forensic Anthro and this class I guess I was looking for a bit more of a science-filled term for once.
Ancient Runes - Buuuut despite the above I can't pass up a good philosophical/divination type class either. I've wanted to take Ancient Runes for a while but I knew it was one that required a lot of time and dedication to do properly and thoroughly. I'm hoping to finally have that this year, and after Persona and my newly re-ignited passion for divination and figuring myself out and all that, I'm really, REALLY excited to be taking this class.

Here's to another year at HOL, eh ;) ?
Thank you to Prof. Kyrie Adderholt!!

Signed up and confirmed for:

  • Persona: A Journey Through The Tarot -- YAY divination (I also figure this gives me a much more structured way to start my study of Tarot IRL though I'm gonna be following along adding additional "bonus notes" from my personal deck which is not the traditional design)
  • Beginning Hungarian - Because languages fascinate me and my first year I actually considered it then changed my mind last minute.

It was a really tough decision, because there are many interesting classes!
But I finally applied for:

-Fantastic Beasts
-Fantastic worlds and where to find them
-Journey of the hero

And I've been accepted in all 3, so... I'm happy :) I'll consider joining a 4th class if I have time.

This is my first term at HOL and I'm extremely excited! Choosing classes was rather difficult but I narrowed it down to the five classes I'll be taking:

- A Visit to Diagon Alley
- Ancient Runes
- Astrology 101
- Care of Magical Creatures

- Harry Potter: Family Studies

Happily enough, I've been accepted in to all of them, yay! :D
