I am thinking about taking:

  • Arithmancy
  • Art Appreciation: Impressionists
  • Magic of Forensic Science
  • Mythology of Eastern Asia
  • Wizarding Society and Culture

I'm also especially interesting in HOL 101 and several of the other Myth and history classes if one or more of these are unavailable to me.
I agree it was difficult to choose.

All the classes sound great! I think I've settled on these three though:

The Marauders 101
Knitting the Muggle Way
The Magical World of Role-Playing

I can't wait to start! :D
If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. - Jim Rohn

People aren't overcome by situations or outside forces. Defeat comes from within. - Banana Yoshimoto

Push yourself beyond when you think you are done with what you have to say. Go a little further. Sometimes when you think you are done, it is just the edge of the beginning. Probably that's why we decide we're done. It's getting too scary. We are touching down onto something real. It is beyond the point when you think you are done that something strong comes out... I give this advice out of pure experience. Go further than you think you can.

It was really difficult to choose this year!! But I narrowed it down to these:

- Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons
- Auror Training
- Fairy Tales
- Journey of the Hero
- The Marauders 101

And then there's the OWL Class too...

This term I decided to take:

* Advanced Potion Making
* Art Appreciation: The Impressionists
* Fairy Tales
* Harry Potter Symbolism
* The History of Witchcraft

I have been accepted in all of them, and I can't wait for the term to start!

Well considering the fact that I'm brand new, I haven't had much time to decide on classes. But I already picked and got accepted into these three:

Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons
Muggle Puzzles
Modern Music History

Anyone have any recommendations for me?

This year is going to be a slower year for me in terms of classes :) here it is

Advanced Potions
Care of Magical Creatures
Diagon Alley
OWL Class

Reason I am taking few is cause of OWL's and also got my class to run it would be way tooo much to do 5 at a time. I was gonna do only two but than I sneaked in a third lol.

I found HOL over google. Always wanted to find an online Hogwarts-like experience, so here I am.
I'm taking Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts and HOL 101.
I picked these classes because they seemed the most interesting in the Harry Potter books... Plus, I took HOL 101 because I'm new here. Could use some education about this website :)
Here's a random fact about me: I have very big ears. My friends call me Dumbo sometimes :P

This term I am taking:

Marauders 101
Ancient Runes
History of Magic
A visit to Diagon Alley
Arithmancy for Beginners

As I am new, I wanted to stick to material with which I am familiar, such as history, numbers and story related issues. I will next be focusing on the classics (courses Harry and other students took in their first year) and a class or two of something I have little background in, but in which I think I would do well.

Next term I definitely want to take:

Potions for Beginners
Beginners-Defense Against the Dark Arts
(There is no transfiguration class! That makes Ianto sad)

I will chose two out of the following:
Native American Mythology
Comparative Wizardry

Potions for Beginners
Care of Magical Creatures
Defense Against the Dark Arts
Severus Snape: The Unanswered Questions

Am I the only one who finished all the homework that is up? :3

Next term, or year, I'd like to see Transfiguration and Herbology. That would be awesome!

I am most looking forward to DADA and Severus Snape. I love the way the professor bases the lessons on discussion. I can't wait for the forums to open. I'm not even excited about real school. I still have to read "The Grapes of Wrath" for an AP class. Yawn... I'd much rather study Potions.
I don't need a compass to tell me which way the wind shines.

So far I have been accepted into:

Beginners- Defense Against the Dark Arts
Fantastic Beasts
History of Magic
The History of Witchcraft

I am still waiting on my other class to accept we which is:

Myths and Legends from the Whole World

There were a lot of classes that I wanted to take this year and it was really difficult for me to pick out 5 that I wanted! Hopefully next year I will be able to take even more!

I signed up for the following 5 classes:

A Visit to Diagon Alley
Beauty and the Beetle: Rita Skeeter
Fantastic Beasts
The Marauders 101

I previously had "Factions of Superheroes", but when I saw that Ashlee's Divination is back, I instantly dropped that one and took Divination instead. I didn't get the chance to finish it properly last year so I just -had- to take it again. :)

I soooo can't decide. There are five I want to do that are all full-year classes, which might be a bit much. Three of them are languages:
French (Beauxbatons)

The other two are:
Magical Mexico
Magical Creatures Lore

Three languages at once is probably a silly idea... But I like languages... I'm trying to make myself choose just one of them.

And finally I have one single-term class I would like to take, Muggle Puzzles, for a bit of a breather from the hard work, but I really think I should find another one term class too, all those full-years seem like big commitments.

Edit - Okay, decided now! Still waiting for my confirmations, but I've chosen:
Art Appreciation: The Impressionists
Beginning Hungarian
Magical Mexico
Muggle Puzzles
Potable Potions I

I chose Care of Magical Creatures, Fantastic Beasts, Muggle Puzzles, and Beginner Defence Against the Dark Arts. I've been accepted into all but Fantastic Beasts so far. :) I'm thinking of taking another class, but I'm not sure which one.

Actually, of all of those exciting classes, i've decided to take Arithmancy, Beginners : DADA, A Visit to Diagon Alley, Divination and Wizarding Science. But after signed up on Arithmancy, DADA and A Visit to Diagon Alley. I've accidentally signed up on Factions of Super Heroes..so, i have to wait until next year to sign up on Divination and Wizarding Science. I don't want to take the risk of taking too much classes.
