Week Eight – Trinidad and Tobago

Post by Maxim Trevelyan » Mon Aug 20, 2018 4:29 pm

Small, dual-island country near Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago is known as a bird haven for numerous flying species.

Waterfalls will be our first stop in this beautiful country, one of those being Rainbow Falls, Argyle Waterfall and Lalaja Falls. Next will be the numerous wildlife, especially bird, sanctuaries, such as Shurland Nature Park, Grafton Caledonia Wildlife Sanctuary, Genesis Nature Park & Art Gallery and Arnos Vale Waterwheel and Nature Park. Historical sites will be the last on our list, Lopinot Complex and Flagstaff Hill being one of them.

As mentioned, Trinidad and Tobago is known for being a bird haven. A lot of the birds are recovering in sanctuaries and they need big enough spaces to live in before being released into the wild.

Solve the slitherlink puzzle below to make enclosed living spaces and send the solution to me over HOL Forum message (Subject: BrtW – Trinidad and Tobago) by September 2nd 11:59 pm HOL time for 25 Hoots and 10 beans.

How to solve a slitherlink puzzle:
Each puzzle consists of a rectangular lattice of dots with some clues in various places. The object is to link adjacent dots so:
  • The value of each clue equals the number of links surrounding it.
  • Empty squares may be surrounded by any number of links.
  • When completed, the solution forms a single continuous loop with no crossings or branches.
