Fels was having her usual strenuous day in the sun at the beach and an owl came flapping tiredly towards her. Hooting softly she dropped a rolled up piece of parchment onto the soft warm white sand next to Fels.
Opening it, Fels thought 'oh oh' -- what kind of disaster has struck now? But she unrolled it and breathed a sigh of relief.
She offered the bird (who had crept into the shade under the parasol) a glass of water to drink and some crackers to eat, while she thought of a reply.
Scribbling it on the napkin (which had pictures on it) -- This is what she said:
I am oh so proud of our hardworking Badgers, whether they are buckling down to do their assignments or coming to the Sett to work on some highly tricky but fun adventures. It's a pleasure to be able to hand out some well deserving awards.
