Growing Up Harry Potter

Post by Arianna Stonewater » Sun Jun 18, 2017 9:25 pm

As you may or may not know, my husband and I are expecting our first child (literally any day now! She's due June 22). Shortly after she's born were are moving, so we haven't done any kind of nursery decorating yet!

We have several Harry Potter onesies, wall art and obviously the books. What kind of cool ideas have you used/seen that would be cool for a nursery that would be good for when she's older too?

That's just so exciting, Arianna.

I saw a picture of a broomstick curtain rod ... and didn't find it again. But that looked SO cool. You think oh a curtain rod and then there is the end of it with twigs! And realize it is a broomstick. (Reminds me of the Black Arrow in The Desolation of Smaug, when Bard pulled it down and it had been acting as a pans and herbs rack?)

I saw this which is kind of nifty. I love the idea of the magical windows looking out to 'wherever'. You might want to have it in green tones though ...
