Favorite Moment

Post by Polaris Black » Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:51 pm

Bloomsbury is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on 26th June 2017 and, as part of their celebrations, they are asking fans to submit a "favorite moment" from the books.

How about you? Can you narrow it down to just one moment that is your fav?

I'll start.
When my nephew and I agreed to read and discuss the Harry Potter series, I decided to do it in audio. I have to admit that I was less than intrigued at first and actually postponed listening to it. But a promise is a promise, and I picked it up again. Jim Dale is an extraordinary reader, and I became more invested with each auditory page. By the time I boarded the Hogwarts Express and learned that famous witches and wizards don’t hang around in their Chocolate Frog Cards all day, I was totally hooked!
A "Cassie Sig" is priceless - thank you so much!
