MACUSA

Postby Arianna Stonewater » Thu Oct 06, 2016 3:28 pm

JKR has just released new writings on MACUSA (The Magical Congress of the United States of America. Read it here

What do you think? How does this compare to the M.O.M (Ministry of Magic)?

I loved that she did some real research when picking the Woolworth Building, it really DOES have an owl over the entrance.

The idea of a wand permit was very interesting; in Britain it seems everyone got their wand from Ollivanders, and at first in the USA it seems they all get them when they attend Ilvermorny, but I suppose in America many people also make their own.

I'd love to learn more about the original 12 Aurors and the Sasquatch issues! Or more about MACUSA today (or anything past the 1920s). I bet once FB comes out we'll get more info.

Really Interesting. Thanks for the share! I prefer the MOM but i also like the idea of the need to implement MACUSA due to the Salem Witch trials. Very cool! ^_^
