New books, freshly cut grass, and the smoke from a blown out candle. Quite similar to Hermione, really. ^_^

If you were an animagus, what would your animal form be?

No! Not this question! This question is so hard for me. I don't have a favorite book. I just love them so much. 13 year old me had a favorite book if you want that one and it was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I had a big ol' crush on Daniel Radcliffe.

What would your favorite part of Hogwarts be? Like, a specific room, specific place, a landmark? Anything really.

The Room of Requirement. I love the idea of a room that conforms to just a thought.
If you could pick a Harry Potter character from each house and lock them in a room together who would it be and why?

Answer: I would love to lock the four Hogwarts founders in one room: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. I am sure they would find a way out if it pretty quickly but, in the meantime, I would love to eavesdrop on their conversations and witness their dynamics! After all, Hogwarts students owe them so much... I really wish more was known about their lives and personalities.

Question: What is your favorite means of wizard transportation? Flying, apparition, floo powder, portkeys, the Hogwarts Express, ... ?

That's difficult, I think apparition for the most part because I'm impatient and if I want to get somewhere I want to be there now. But if I wasn't going anywhere in particular then flying, I just think it would be so relaxing. I would want a cushioning charm on my broom though!

Would you take a pet to Hogwarts and if so, what would you take?

Yes, yes I would. If we're sticking to the typical owl or a cat or a toad from the original acceptance letter, I would be stereotypical and take a black cat. However, if we're ignoring the rules, like everyone at Hogwarts seems to do (Ron with his rat, GInny with her pygmy puff and Harry's son taking a ferret in DH?), I would take...A Pink Fairy Armadillo OR a Red Panda which are the cutest hot messes you've ever seen.

Hypothetically, if electrical appliances and technology like wifi worked at Hogwarts, would you use it there?

I know some of you all would be posting your own made up potions on Facebook!

I would not. I would rather perfect my magic so as to not to need the electrical appliances.

If you were teaching muggle studies at Hogwarts, what are a couple of things you would be sure to talk about?
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride! -Hunter S. Thompson-

I actually am teaching Muggle Studies at Hogwarts, or at least HOL. :P

The one thing that I have made sure to talk about is pop culture as I think it is very important to know in order to assimilate the muggle world. We will also of course be studying practical things such as how to dress and currency exchanges as well as the post.

What career are you thinking about taking in the magical world once you graduate from Hogwarts?

I've always dreamt of following Prof. McGonagall's footsteps and teaching Transfiguration. She is not only my favourite teacher, but my favourite character overall. It definitely is the ultimate Harry Potter career dream for me and having the opportunity to experience it to a great extent here is quite fulfilling.

If you were able to use and excel in only one branch of magic (charms, transfiguration, offensive and defensive spells - read: combat spells, potions, divination, etc.) what would it be and why?

Charms, it's the most artistic and creative magic I can think of. Besides, I like the idea of gracefully waving my wand and tastefully redecorating a room in two seconds flat.

Which every day magical object from the Harry Potter universe would you like to own? (No hallows or philosopher's stones)

As soon as I read that, I immediately thought Lunascope. No idea why! But that is what I thought I'd like to have.
Note: Oh, of course. Newt had one with him when he went to New York.

Would you rather have a puffskein or a pygmypuff (or neither)?

I honestly think I'd much prefer a puffskein.

If you had to get past the Whomping Willow without pressing that handy little knot, how would you do it?

To me, Amortentia would smell of freshly baked bread and warm sugar donuts.

What pet would you choose to take to school with you ?

Owl for sure. Particularly a little Sokoke Scops Owl.

If you were a painting at Hogwarts what would your painting look like?

My painting would look like a picture of a snug mountain cabin, set in a clearing with its own deer-fence protected garden and a small greenhouse. There would be a nice little barn and corral close to cabin and garden. The clearing is surrounded by the pine trees and great granite boulders. The gate to the corral would be open and there would be obvious signs that whoever lives there isn't present at the moment.

What would be your preferred footwear when going to Hogwarts?

In real life, I like to eat the basic cereal and milk for breakfast, so, I actually would eat some Pixie Puffs with milk!

Sorry.

Honeydukes. Are you kidding? I haven't even begun to explore that awesomeness.

What kind of broom would you prefer at Hogwarts?

A vintage Silver Arrow. If it's good enough for Madam Hooch it's obviously the broom to be had!

If you could only have one, would you rather have the Marauders map or the invisibility cloak?
