Book Review - The BFG

Post by Vanessa Tilley » Sat Dec 30, 2017 11:21 pm

Title of the book: The BFG
Authors: Roald Dahl
Series: No
Genres: fantasy, young adult, fiction
Short summary of the story:
When Sophie is snatched from her orphanage bed by the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), she fears she will be eaten. But instead the two join forces to vanquish the nine other far less gentle giants who threaten to consume earth’s children.

I will admit I was quite surprised to see no one has done a review on the BFG yet. I will say that I am in love with another wonderful Roald Dahl look. I am in love with the BFG because he is such a sweet character and I adore Sophie because she corrects the poor BFGs grammar like I do. The story is full of great imagery and very believable characters. It has a great plotline and the ending is just perfect! A good read all around :)

Siggy and avatar made by the wonderful Professor Scarlet for Slythmas!
