Title: Alienated (Alienated, #1)
Author: Melissa Landers
Series: Yes
Genre: Young Adult Novel, Science Fiction

For a very quick glance, this is a book about a girl names Cara and her interaction with a foreign exchange student from a different planet. It is kin of your stereotypical young adult book. Girl/Boy, one doesn't like the other at first, then they do, lots of drama, mad friends, mad ex-boyfriend etc, this one just happens to have an alien involved. I actually enjoyed this book, it was simple and extremely easy to read. Not much thinking involved. There was some very interesting political topics involved that actually mirror some issues we see in the real world. The characters had quite a bit of depth and were relatable. Overall this is a good book and I would recommend it for a quick easy read.
