Can a book be used for more than one criteria if we do multiple postings for it?

Each book can only be used once.

So pretty much writing mini book reports on how we liked the book to get a mark on a bingo card? Trying to understand how this works.

And or if we've read a book and we see a similar theme from the book we've read that seems like another one?

That's pretty much it. You're welcome to take a look at posts from both The Bookshelf and Between the Pages to get an idea of what we're looking for.

You'll also need to email us the links to your posts so that we can check that they match up with your card.

Has anyone gotten their lists yet? I've been having trouble with my e-mail, recently, so I am afraid I might not have received it!

I'll only be sending out the lists around 10 September. I'll be sure to PM the link to you as well.

Question, how dark of a book can we go? I sometimes struggle with knowing where the line between HOL appropriate and not is.Plus, Stephen King could tackle at least one of the categories on my card.

Unfortunately Stephen King would be out. Something along the lines of Coraline might be ok though, as that was written for children.

What might help is considering film rating systems. The main aspects that differentiate G/PG movies from other movies would similarly make books not appropriate for a HOL audience. We need to be mindful that some of our members are below the age of 13.

What is Book Club's BINGO policy on multiple books in one post? Same as for Reading Challenges? So, if post was an appropriate length (for example, 160 words or more for two books) and it stuck to the topic, could it be accepted for two books? Or is it strictly one post per one book?

Multiple books in one post is fine.

Okay so what if there is one item on your card that you can't do? I can't find an HOL appropriate author with my HOL initials. Thanks!

I'd also be willing to accept an author that shares your first name or has one of your initials (rather than both).
