Thank you to those of you who have joined us in celebrating HOL Appreciation Month
this year! There was a lot of fun to be had (and we, as organisers, enjoyed seeing all the effort that went into the submissions), and there were also opportunities to find out more about HOL and the people who help make it special!
The activity has now come to an end and the results are in (all except for Week 2: Trophy Room (aka Goals)
, which will be checked in early July 2016 to see how well we all did!)
We — Amy, Maxwell, Polaris, Tarma and Will — had great fun coming up with these challenges and we hope you enjoyed them. Although none of you had your brains ooze out (or so we hope!), we did try to give you some conundrums which wouldn't be solved in just a minute or three!
This wouldn’t have been a fun or successful event if it weren’t for those of you who participated — so a big thank you to all of you for contributing towards this!
We’ve got several awards to hand out…
First up is the Bronze Spirit Award
for participation. This is to recognise those individuals who completed at least four tasks throughout the duration of the activity.
Prof. Amy Lupin
Prof. Scarlet Leslie-Lewis
Next is the Silver Spirit Award
. This is to recognise those who submitted particularly creative submissions. There were so many great submissions that we had a hard time choosing who to give the award to!
The next award, the Gold Spirit Award
, will only be given out at the end of the 2015-2016 school year. This will be to recognise those who manage to achieve the goals they have set for themselves over here
Lastly, we have the Platinum Spirit Award
. This is to recognise those who went over and above and/or embody HOL spirit.
Congratulations to everyone who earned an award, and, once again, thank you for participating!
PS. The spreadsheet with everyone’s points for the activity can be found here
. We had a lot of submissions coming in, so if you notice that you didn’t get points for something you sent in, please drop us an email and we’ll look into it as soon as possible. Thanks!
