The start of a new school year is always a cause for celebration and this year is no different. We would like to invite you to join us in a magnificent start of term Feast, to be held in the Great Hall (of course!).
This task is split into two parts, each worth 5 points (if submitted by Sunday, 6 September
at 11:59 PM HOL time. Partial points will be awarded if submitted later).Part One - The outfit!
Before the feast can begin it’s important that we all get ready. We would like you to design a doll showing yourself ready for the feast. Remember that all students should be smartly dressed in their school uniforms and anyone who does not reach the required standards will be made to go and sit with Argus Filch in his office until the feast is done. Of course a little flair never hurt… Professors will already know the standard of dress expected so I’m sure I don’t have to point you in the right direction. Upload your finished doll to an image-hosting site such as Photobucket or Tinypic and post the picture in this thread to earn your points.IMPORTANT! Make sure that your images are no larger than 1200 px in total dimensions (length + width). So 600 x 600, 800 x 400, and 400 x 800 are all okay, but 640 x 640, 900 x 400, and 400 x 900 are all too large. If you already submitted your image, no need to worry about changing it.Part Two - The Feast!
Head over to the Feast Roleplay (RP) thread that has just been started HERE
in this forum and join in. You only need to make one post to earn your points but it must be a paragraph written in full sentences (at least 5) to get the points. You are, of course, welcome to post more than once but this will not get you any extra points. If you’ve never roleplayed before don’t worry - it’s really easy to pick up. Just write from the perspective of your character about what they’re doing and how they feel to be at the feast/back at Hogwarts. If you’re a first year you can RP your sorting or just your arrival in the Hall - whichever you feel happier with. Send me (Maxwell Shadow, ma1705) a message if you need a bit of help!
