With the new website, one significant change is that HOL IDs* will no longer be used as such. Messages, points, class membership/assistants and so on will rely on a person's HOL name instead. The only instance where they will still be used is with the URL for a person's profile.
Students: You no longer need to provide your HOL ID when submitting things.
Staff: We’d like to ask that you remove any mention of HOL IDs for all activities, classes, projects (including the House newspapers) and similar that you offer. This is especially so as not to confuse new students.

*For those who are new and aren't aware, your HOL ID is a string of letters and numbers that identifies you in the database. As we are no longer using them for day to day things, you are free to ignore any remaining references to them you might find around the site.
