Class Committee Check-In

Postby Prof. Kyrie Adderholt » Fri Dec 30, 2016 9:50 pm

Hi everyone,

I am posting on behalf of the class committee since the end of term is quickly approaching. The class committee was designed primarily to handle situations where a student teacher or professors disappears during the term and does not award points for the work their students have completed. If we can verify that a professor is not around and that the student completed the work, we can award points for the work so that students are not left empty-handed for work they completed.

Since term ends in a few weeks, please send either myself (Prof. Kyrie Adderholt) or Prof. Rorey Padfoot an HOL message if:
You have submitted work and not yet received points and you are worried that the teacher is not around.

When we get your message, we will try to contact that professor and find out what is going on. If they are just behind or waiting until the end of term, then obviously they will handle the class and you will have nothing to worry about. However, if they are not around and we do not get a response, we can hopefully handle the situation and make sure you get your points.

Please send your messages by January 14th 11:59 pm HOL time.

Thanks!

Class Committee

We have only heard from a few students so far. If a class has been identified as a potential problem, the members have received a message. If you are worried about a class and didn't get a message, please contact me or Rorey Padfoot asap.
