In the spirit of promoting HOL-wide Quidditch, we are issuing a warning for all unsportsmanlike conduct in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, taunting the other team in the game channel or insulting nicks on IRC or even refusing, when participating in a Quidditch match, to play. Yes, Quidditch is a sport. Yes, teams get competitive. But we ask that you keep your frustrations in your team channels and other private venues.
Spectators will be deducted points for displaying poor sportsmanship.
Players who exhibit unsportsmanlike conduct will be suspended. In order to lift the suspension, the player must be present at next game their team plays AND stay the entire game. They can help out their team, but they cannot play.
If an entire team is deemed unsportsmanlike, they forfeit their next match. In order to be eligible for the match after the forfeited match, they must still show up and play in the forfeited match.
Consider this your first and final warning.
