Re:

Post Graduate's points don't count for the multiplier nor house cup I know I am reviving an oooold topic, but I can't find any other information on the topic anywhere (not even in the handbook under "post graduates") but is this still the case? Do Post Graduate's points count for the mult...

Re: Signatures

I use a program called "Animation shop 3" It came together with paintshop pro as a discount when I bought that. I don't know what other programs people use. (and my signature is not actually animated at the moment so for this I of course didn't use animationshop) What I did was make the fr...

HOL time 4 hours off

Hol time appears to be off. On the page it says HOL time is currently 6.05 am
I happen to know that HOL time (following Britain) should in fact be 2.05 am

Just thought I'd mention it.

Re: Abandoned Books

Advice on reading the lord of the rings: Do not read the foreword and the whole bit about the parting of the Shire. It is very long and not very interesting until you already have a vested interest in the hobbits. Therefore, wait until you've finished the books. Then go back and read it. And if you ...

Re: Time around the world (Tell us what time it is and what you’re doing at this very moment)

HOL says it's 4.20 pm, here it's 5.20 pm, and I am at work. I work in a bookshop and I'm putting second hand books online so people can browse them online. In about half an hour I can go home and I am looking forward: putting books online all day takes its toll.

Re: The 100

You are defintely not alone: I too am in love with the show. And I am entirely caught up (second ep of the third season as of this moment). I read the books too, though I can't recommend them much - as much as I would love to say otherwise. They do have a few interesting aspects that aren't in the t...

Re: Suits and LoTR

Very simply both, and I shall now quote Lord of the Rings at you for good measure: "Go not to the Elves for counsel, for they will say both no and yes" (And 3 beans to those of you who know who said that - send me a PM) ;) But to answer the question: It's about power, because it deals with...

Re: Favourite Cover Artists

Robert Ingpen is the best cover artist I know. He also illustrates a lot of these books inside. Seriously, if you ever get the chance, take a look at one of his books in a bookstore if you see them - or google some of these titles with Robert Ingpen. It's gorgeous. http://i68.tinypic.com/2luxvvb.png...

Re: HOL Life

How did you get along with your partner? Did you split the work or try to do the tasks together? I love my partner! She is the sweetest, and she is also my RL best friend. We met online and next year we'll have known each other for ten years. So she was a natural pick for me for a partner. We did so...

Re: Week 3: HOL Library

I joined HOL in 2005, 10 years ago now, and right from the start I loved the classes and the opportunity to earn points. I learned a lot through some of the classes - for instance during my very first semeester at HOL I took a HTML class, which enabled me to build a web page for Miss HOL later on, a...

I've spoken to Tom Foster . http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a33/Niniel28b/Tom%20Foster3_zps6fmi9zdq.png Tom loves to be with his friends, and he also likes to go to the movies, so I included an image of a group of friends at the cinema. He's in the bowling league this year, but also likes to spend ...
