The main aspects that differentiate G/PG movies from other movies would similarly make books not appropriate for a ...

Re: New Fall Shows: What's On Your List?

The two shows I'm most looking forward to are the new seasons of Designated Survivor and Madam Secretary (I'm still working on finishing the 3rd season though).

Re: What Book Are You Reading?

I'm currently reading Shadow Magic by Joshua Khan. I recently had the opportunity to listen to him speak, and he mentioned that his book challenges the notions of good vs evil and that the story was inspired by a person who I greatly admire.

Book Club Awards 2016/17

The past year has been especially exciting for us over at the Book Club, as we saw various new initiatives being introduced such as Quick Quotes and the Monthly Book Discussions. None of this would have been possible though if it weren’t for those of you who participated in the Book Club on an ongoi...

Re: Dystopias and Similar

I also went through a phase of wanting to read any dystopias I could get my hands on. Some books/series that have intrigued me include Divergent (although I confess I wasn’t too happy with Allegiant ), The Hunger Games , The Giver and Station Eleven . Most recently, I read The Testing series by Joel...

The books you read for the reading challenge don't have to be any of the Harry Potter books. However, should you decide to read one of them, we request that you read a non-Harry Potter book as well.
