Re: Dungeons & Dragons

I've played two sessions so far, and I'm enjoying learning the mechanics of D&D. It might not be something I do long-term, but I'm glad I at least tried it out.

Re: New mobile game - Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

I'm a little bit less enthused about the game now that I've been playing it for a while, but as a Harry Potter fan, I'll continue playing it, as it's great to learn more about the HP universe and some of the characters in it. The need to unlock classes before you can actually take them gets a bit te...

Re: Announcing HOL Version 5

We can transfer your awards across, but not any other data relating to classes or points as this has wider ramifications.

The only data we can safely transfer between accounts is awards, beans, pets, treasures and wizarding cards.

Re: 2018 FIFA World Cup

My dad used to follow the FIFA World Cup very closely. The first World Cup I started paying attention to was the 2006 one, as I had started playing soccer a year or two before then. The 2010 World Cup was hosted in South Africa, so I had the opportunity to watch several matches live. The atmosphere ...

Re: E3 2018 & Death Stranding

I'm really excited that Bethesda announced not only one Elder Scrolls game, but two! I absolutely loved Skyrim and can't wait to see what's in store for Elder Scrolls VI . The mobile game sounds intriguing as well. I generally try stay away from mobile games, but I'll definitely give this a try when...

2018 FIFA World Cup

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off in 5 days time! Unfortunately South Africa didn't qualify for the World Cup, but I'll still be watching the tournament with interest. Some teams I'll be following include Brazil, England (especially as a long-time supporter of them), and Portugal. One match I'll def...

Re: New mobile game - Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

I started playing the game today, and I'm enjoying it so far. While I understand the game developers' decision to do so, the gameplay is far too linear for my liking. I suppose I may have been spoiled by some of the RPGs I’ve played in the past (looking at you, Skyrim, in particular). I do feel the ...

Re: The Shannara Chronicles

I finished watching the first season over the weekend, and really enjoyed it. It was predictable in parts, as Marie mentioned, but the story was still very satisfying. I also liked the character development, especially for Ander and Eretria. I really felt for both Ander and Wil in the last episode o...
