Re: Happy Birthday Iverian Gnash!

Thanks everyone! It was a great day and I got to spend a lot of time with the fam. Although no cheesecake, my sibs got me a raspberry chocolate cake and made chocolate covered strawberries :D  which was equally as good  (I ate more than I should have) ^_^ (Thanks Gail for the quidditch com...

Re: Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery – A New Mobile Game!

The game was fun until I had to duel the centaur in the forest in like my fourth year. I couldn’t win that duel and ended up running out of coins to keep playing so just stopped playing cause it was impossible LOL

Book Review - Oliver Twist

Title: Oliver Twist Author: Charles Dickens Genre: Novel, Fiction, Social Novel Summary: I’m actually pretty surprised that this book is not a review yet. I really enjoyed Oliver Twist. I listened to the audio book and it was pretty good. There were some slow points, but then, you’ll have that with ...

Re: Book Review: Cinder

Yes! I just started the series and Cinder was fantastic! It took me a while to understand the time that this book occurs and what’s going on with the androids and such, but once I figured it out, it was amazing! The book jumps right in and doesn’t start by “describing scenery” which I hate. I loved ...

Re: Discussion Two- Lesson/Assignment 4

1. Muggle police aren't able to quickly apparate to the scene of a crime and therefore it takes longer for them to respond to something than Aurors. Muggle police also must detain someone by their own means, unlike Aurors who have wands and can cast a spell on the person or thing. 2. There are never...

Re: Names on HP Merch

I’ll have to agree with everyone else. Definitely my RL name unless it was strictly HOL. Only my closest friend knows about HOL, so it would be sort of weird for everyone if I walked around with my HOL name on a piece of clothing. However, my HOL name corresponds to a book my brother and I are writi...

Re: Harry Potter Gear and Magical Meets!

I always wear my Slytherin shirt and my Hogwarts shirt. I get a lot of comments on it! I’ve also met a lot of fellow Slytherins! Once, I met a girl who was all decked out in Hufflepuff gear while on Campus one day. I acknowledged it and we ended up having a conversation for over an hour. A boy sitti...

Oh my goodness! *groans* Not this question! I would say the Elder Wand because I seek power (I’ll admit it) and wouldn’t want to lose a duel. Would anyone?

Re: Siblings!

I’m the second oldest of 6. One sister is older than me by a year and a half. Three brothers and one sister are younger than me. As of the date of this post, starting from the eldest, the ages are 16, 14, 12 (almost 13), 11, 9, and 7. Ever heard the stories of the second eldest being the rebel? Well...

Re: So, What Are You Taking?

I decided to take A Trip to Diagon Alley, Dueling 101, Occlumency, Auror Training, and The Marauders 101. I have to say that The Marauders 101 was my favorite. I’ve finished most of my classes except for Dueling 101 and Auror Training. I’ve been having a lot of fun! :D

Hello everyone! Iverian Gnash here. I started HOL in August and absolutely love it! I'm a first year Gryffindor, who loves all things music. I can play the piano, guitar, and violin. I hope to make loads of friends! B)
