Re: Week 6-Moving Forward

Okay, so my future on HOL. I am quite positive right now and I do absolutely want to pass NEWTs and even more. I am also hopping that I would be each year higher Gryffindor student. Getting at least two quils per one year seems good enough and easy enough job for me. I am a little scared of OWLs and...

Re: What happened to Lavender? possible spoiler

I do think that this is very amazing question. As movie reports the Lavander died killed by Greyback. But a few people think about her death/future in a book. For myself I think that she ended the same as in the movie; she died of Greyback's attack. I think that he had attacked her strongly and even...

Re: Sabriel, Chapter 24-Epilogue

Okay, so the end. This was it; everything which was expected from this book. The whole story was leading to final combat and with this to end. I must say that it was too quick; everything was on a few pages and written not very descriptionary. I was surprise when I suddenly found out that there was ...

Re: HOL 101 Introductions

Hi! I am Robin Blackwood, first year from Gryffindor. I have found HOL because of one similar site from my country. I quiet from there (it was near destruction) and began searching something like this in english language. Obviously I found many results (this was 2 years ago); and my attention was ta...

Re: Week 4-Pets

I know that this sounds so traditional; but I would like to have owl. Fact is that I am a bird lover and so I do not preffer capturing birds in cages. But in HP series owls seems different and much more free. My owl would be most beautiful owl that exist (at least for me). It would be bright cream c...

Re: Week 4-Awesome Awards

I don't know many awards in HOL; but from these I know about I would like to earn some award connected with Quills (number of quills). I would also like to earn some house award (Gryffindor award) for doing something. But my biggest interest is of course in classes and their awards; I hope that I wi...

Re: No! Don't kill them! (Character you cried over most)

I agree with all of the said names; but for me it was also Colin Creevey's death very sad event. He was annoying sometimes, but do you imagine how many bad things happened him because he was muggle born wizard. When Snape came as headmaster he was not educating anymore and he wad running away from t...

Re: Sabriel, Chapters 8-15

Eight chapter was the most interesting chapter until now; it was full of different surprises and amazing introduction of strange life-style. Many things were explained; about Abhorsens' family and life goals. The cat's character is quite mysterious, but very interesting. Seeing him calm and with sen...

Re: The Big Bang Theory

I like this show so much; altough I am watching it rarely and with long periods between two episodes. But humor is needed beween other shows and movies. Actors are quite cool and episodes makes sense (sometimes); but after all, the sense of comedy is being funny and sometimes stupid.

Re: Sabriel, Prologue-chapter 7

When I started reading I was full of surprise. What was going to happen? How? Finally I took some time for getting book into my hands and I started with prologue. In some books there are so bad prologues, but here it was really interesting and powerful one. It was kind of obvious what will be prolog...

Re: Week 3-Filling Your Free Time

What would I like to do in Hogwarts? Hmm, I am kind of book worm so I would probaly spend many time in the Hogwarts library. Being there among thousands of books containing magic and other interesting things; and no being close to muggle electronics (computers, which are "damaging" every ...

Re: What Book Are You Reading?

I have just ended reading Lo scudo di Talos; from Valerio Massimo Manfredi. It is history book about Sparta and greek slaves. I was enjoying reading it every minute and I was kind of sad when it ended. Now I am planning to continue with Sabriel for this months book at HOL.

Re: Week 3-Study Spaces

My best imaginary study place is kind of old looking. I would like to learn sitting on comfortable chair, which has no ability to circle around (this is so annoying to me). Then my desk would need to be big enough (if I am learning I am having a million of things; current book, notebook, couple of p...

Re: What to Watch....?

I became a Tv show watcher not long ago, but I have watched many of them already. My favouriteS are: *absolutely Game of thrones (everyone is watching it, I think) * Merlin ; I was watching this show some years ago and I am planning on repeating it. This was so marvelous and interesting (and full of...

Re: Favourite Genre?

I absolutely love fantasy, fanfictions and all books with at least pinch of magic. For example (Hp, Lord of Rings, Game of Thrones, Eragon, Warriors and so much more). If there is a time that I don´t have anything else then I also read criminals and some history stories (especially about ancient nat...
