Re: Opinion of spin-off tv shows?

I am usually not a fan of spin-off shows. The only show I can think of that I liked that was a spin-off would be Frasier. Other than that, I could take them or leave them.

Re: Viewing Habits?

I personally binge watch TV shows. I actually will not watch a TV show until the series is over EXCEPT for Game of Thrones and Big Bang Theory. I HATE cliffhangers so I just can't do it until the whole series is up. I LOVE that Stranger Things on Netflix put the whole season up at a time.

Re: Game of Thrones: What house do you belong in?

So I would LOVE to say that I am a Targaryen because Daenerys is my role model however, I have taken a lot of quizzes online and I always end up being sorted into Baelish family. :(

Re: Character Playlists

I think character playlists is an AMAZING idea! I would love to go through and make a playlist for some of my favorite characters. It would be so much fun to listen to and then write a story or some fanfiction about the character as you listen to it! As I mentioned in another post, I love the idea o...

Re: Favorite theme track from a movie.

My favorite theme song track from a movie is the Jurassic Park musical introduction. Every time I hear that tune I think about my Velociraptors and I can't help but smile plus I like the uplifting feeling it has to me.

Re: New Albums with a Different Sound

As was already mentioned, I love the Bee Gees and they definitely went in a different direction along with Taylor Swift. I love Taylor Swifts new songs. I also love Johnny Cash when he was doing his country music but he did change later into more Christian music.

So that is sooooo hard!

Of the musicals I have seen in person, my favorite musical would be Spamalot. The musical I love most would be My Fair Lady!

Re: What Music Did You Grow Up With?

I grew up listening to Classic Rock. My father doesn't really like music because he was forced to sing when he was young in churches because his family went around singing in all the churches. Fun fact, my great grandfather actually played at the Grand Old Opera once. My mother loved Queen, Aaron Ne...

Re: What Are You Listening To...?

Currently, I am listening to "Hotel California" by the Eagles. I love the story it tells because it reminds me of one of my favorite TV shows. I also find the guitar playing beautiful and it has a nice haunting air about it that I am attracted to.

Re: All About Lyrics

There are so many wonderful songs out there and so many lyrics speak to me but one particular song that is near and dear to my heart now is "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. Since losing my mom, I have found comfort in the lyrics of this song and I can imagine my mother exploring all the vastne...

Re: Name That Tune

That would be These are Special Times by the lovely Christina Aguilera.

And she said, 'we are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

Re: How Do You Enjoy Your Music?

I listen to music on my Kindle or on my computer. I have Amazon Music Unlimited so I can listen to any and everything I can think of. I enjoy using a Kindle because it can go wherever I go and I can hook it up anywhere. It works great with syncing to my shower speaker or my SUV output. Currently, my...

Re: Do You Play An Instrument?

I, sadly, do not have the musical talent to play an instrument unless you count Tibetan singing bowls as an instrument. I can, at least, sing so that makes me happy.

I always wanted to learn how to play piano though.

Re: Songs for Books

So, the song that comes to mind for me is "The Girl is on Fire" by Alicia Keys which would be a great theme song for Katniss Everdeen though it could apply to so many strong female characters.

Re: What book you have read would make a great movie?

Cinder by Marissa Meyer would make an amazing sci-fi/steampunk movie. I would love to see someone be able to breath life into the wonderful world she has created full of cyborgs, robots, spaceships, and the people of Luna. I also would love to see Heartless by Marissa Meyer would make a great movie ...

Re: What If...?

If there was no music in the world, I think the world would be a very sad place. Music plays such a big role in my life. I use music as a type of escape when things get hard. I have playlists for every emotion I am going through so when I am happy, sad, angry, or feeling lost, I put on my playlist t...

Re: If you had a time machine, what time would you travel to?

If I had a time machine, I would travel back to the 1800 Victorian Era in England. I love that period. I feel like my old soul would be right at home there. I love the clothing of the time period and all the high society teas!

Re: Comfort Watching

If I feel really down, Gilmore Girls is my go to show to feel better although I haven't been able to get myself to watch it yet since I lost my mom. The characters are great and it reminds me of my mom so much. I also like to watch Chance in a Million which is a hilarious British Show from a while a...
