Re: Week 4 - Roleplay

Robin Hood That was an unexpected turn of events: Usually people were only too happy to accuse him of just about any crime that had been committed anywhere in the vicinity whether he had in fact done it or not. To be cleared quite that easily was very unexpected. The next idea was far less disconcer...

Re: Week 3 - Creative

Robin Hood's head quarters is not a building and as such there are not really much to describe about the layout of it. Instead it is beneath a great oak in Sherwood Forest. There are of course also other trees around and when the weather turns cold or wet he and his gang construct temporary shelters...

Re: Week 3 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin nodded and when he saw Will make a move towards the bar he followed him, realising he too could use something to drink after all that had already happened here. Something there smelled wonderful and he breathed in deeply, for a moment absorbed more by finding out what that was than ...

Re: Week 3 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin kept his ears open for other conversation too though, particularly the one between the law enforcement. People like that were always worth keeping an eye on when it came to stealing in his experience. And these two seemed just a little bit too eager to find someone else to blame; th...

Re: Week 3 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin made his way closer to the one that had spoken about others being just as likely to have taken the Ring as them [Will Turner]. At least that one seemed to have his head on right and he didn't look as strange to Robin as many of the others here. "I think your ideas are likely to be r...

Re: Week 2 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin had stopped speaking much after saying his bit and was instead watching the people around him. He noticed a woman [Mulan] whom he hadn't noticed speaking yet, but she seemed like she had been just about to just a moment ago. And what was more, she looked like someone whose options h...

Re: Week 2 - Creative

You don't actually need that much. It's far more important to be fast and be able to hide well if you need to. Of course you do need a bow - it works well for both securing dinner and making sure you yourself can get out of trouble if you need to. Other than that of course some food would be good, b...

Re: Week 2 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin nodded at what Lara said. It made her at least likely to be one of the people on the side of good. Like he never robbed people of everything they had if they willingly opened their purses when he demanded it. Then he only took what they could spare for the pood. Lara, in donating, d...

Re: Week 2 - Roleplay

Robin Hood "That doesn't mean you can't help people though" Robin argued. "What do you do with the artefacts once you've found them?" he asked, making it a little more precise what he was getting at. "If you were to sell them, you could give the money to the poor and help that way." He faced the gro...

Re: Week 2 - Roleplay

Robin Hood "I am Robin" he introduced himself to the woman who had introduced herself as Lara - and who was clearly very capable of looking after herself: Good for her. And apart from his manners with women, Robin thought he might be able to come to agreements with Han. "It's a pleasure to meet you,...

Re: Week 2 - Roleplay

When the woman [Glinda] entered, Robin's attention was suddenly caught and pulled from the woman [Kate Becket] he had just been talking to. "Well, seems's we're called" he said to her [Kate Becket], when Glinda had said her piece. He walked with the others to the table, intending to first hear what ...

Re: Week 1 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin cringed this time, unable to hide it. Off the rack... that sounded... decidedly unpleasant. He was glad when she quickly explained the true connection to him and then followed up with something much easier. He looked at the food put out for them and began moving towards the tables. ...

Re: Week 1 - Roleplay

Robin Hood "Sherwood" he replied readily, "Though I am sure my father would not be pleased to hear I have too much of an accent" he said, though he did not stop grinning, showing that that comment was mostly meant in jest and not to be taken too seriously. "I must admit though that you do not sound...

Re: Week 1 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin cringed inwardly when he saw her; Just his luck that the moment he decided to move out of the shadows, someone who looked worryingly much like the others whom he'd learned were in law enforcement, came through the door. There was nothing for it though and he smiled the most charmin...

Re: The Hobbit - Introduce Yourself!

Hello, my name is Gail Allen and I am a 3rd year Ravenclaw - it feels so strange to say that! I joined HOL in September 2016, so it's 2 years and a month since I joined. It feels simultaniously like more and less time. I have gotten a couple of nics in my time here at HOL, among them: Twinsie, Gale ...

Re: Week 1 - Creative

1. To you, what makes a hero? Do you consider yourself one? I think a hero is someone who helps those who need help. In that sense I guess I am a hero, but I think that being a hero is not something that only a few people should aspire to. I wish to live in a world where lots of people are heroes an...

Re: Week 1 - Roleplay

Robin Hood Robin had entered the room very quietly shortly after most of the others seemed to have entered: He didn't like to draw attention to himself in a group of strangers before he had the measure of the people in whose company he found himself. And as he observed them in seemed to have been a...

Re: The Language Barrier

When I watch broadcast tv everything that isn't my native language is subtitled - and if someone has a heavy dialect or slurs their words a lot or something else is judged to be making it hard to understand, it will also be subtitled. I used to really need these too and I still probably read them ju...
