Re: All About Lyrics

This is from a musical called Children of Eden, and this is part of the song "Close to home" On this barren plot We'll plant our wheat and dig our well And we'll be a family Steady as a star Look at what we've got Only what we've made ourselves Though it's next to nothing Look how rich we ...

Square dance

Almost four years ago I started dancing square dance. Where I live it's a fairly unknown sport, but I quickly learned that for a time, it was something that many schools taught in the United States. So now I am curious how many of you can dance this dance? And do any of you still do it? How did you ...

Book Review: Guards Guards by Terry Pratchett

Title: Guards Guards Author: Terry Pratchett Genre: Fantasy Series: Discworld (8) Summary: The story takes place in the Discworld univers, more specifically in the city of Ankh-Morpork, just like the last book I read, and indeed this is the first book that focuses on the City Watch. Terry Pratchett'...

Book Review: Nightwatch

Title: Night Watch Author: Terry Pratchett Genre: Fantasy Series: Discworld (29) Summary: The story takes place in the Discworld univers, more specifically in the city of Ankh-Morpork. It is the 29th book written about this specific univers, but 'only' the sixth in the series to focus on Sam Vimes, ...

Re: Rogue One - The Novelization

I definitely agree with Maxim on that one. I don't like screeenplays for exactly the reason he stated, and the times where I have read them it's felt more like a chore than a pleasure. If a story is to be transported froma movie or a theater piece, I would much prefer novelization for the task. That...

Re: Traditions

We usually get a tree on the 22nd or 23rd and decorate it all together. Then it stands past new year and until the 6th of January, sometimes longer, but that's usually the date. We also always go to my grandmother on the 24th and eat a nice lunch, then to my mother in the evening for dinner. And on ...

Thank you Arianna.
I do understand times getting busy. It's not a rush, I just wanted to make sure since it seemed a month or so was the norm from what you said above.

Re: Getting into Harry Potter story

It's not exactly the same, but seemed similar enough that I'd still add it here.
I uploaded the trading card, and it was approved on the 11th of October, but I also have not gotten the points for it yet.
Is there something I ought to do about that, since that's a bit longer already?

Holiday avatar and signature graphics

I have been working on signature and avatar graphics for both Hufflepuff and Slytherin and thought, why not extend that and make one for each of the houses? So not far from thought to action and here's the result. One house neutral one and four house-specific signature and avatar combinations. I'd b...

Re: Games with staying power

I played commander keen when I was young and I do think I'd like to play it again now. It is probably mainly for the nostalgia, but I also did think it was genuinely a good game with mazes for you to find your way through. I wouldn't know of course how I felt about it now, seeing that I haven't play...

Re: So many classes. Which HOL class was your favourite?

I love HOL Quidditch. It has really gotten to show me how much fun Quidditch can be and I think that's a great accomplishment of a class. To not only educate its students about something, but make them interested enough to also go out and do whatever is being taught, on their own time. I am also ver...
