Which Nutcracker ballet has your vote?

We can't go into the holiday season without Shiloh talking ballet. It's impossible. So tell me, which Nutcracker ballet is your favorite? I am biased towards the Joffrey Ballet because I danced in it every year until I graduated. Last year was the first year they brought in a new choreographer, Chri...

What Made You Happy Today?

I'm in the need for some positivity in my life. I'm probably not the only one. When tough times come our way, it's hard to think about anything else except for what went wrong or what we should be doing or about that terrible event. So I want us all to share one good thing that happened to us today....

Re: Fantastic Beasts movie #2 - The Crimes of Grindelwald

I was at work when someone brought this to my attention. Thankfully we were in the break room, and I screamed out of pure excitement as I read the article. One of my managers came into check on us to make sure we were okay. haha It was awesome. So I got to go on this crazy dialogue about how amazing...

Re: Wizards United

This sounds so exciting. I think I will probably definitely download this game when it's released. I never got into Pokemon Go though I know quite a few people who play it or played it when it was the big new thing, but if it's Harry Potter related, I may have to get on board for this style of gamin...

Re: Matilda: Chapter 17 - Chapter 21

I definitely liked the movie better than the book which is very rare for me to say. It's always the other way around. I found the book to be good of the beginning but as we start learning more information, it ends up getting to the point to where it's almost too much for this to be considered a ...

Re: Matilda: Chapter 12 - Chapter 16

I definitely consider these punishments unrealistic, but it is a children's book which means the imagination is allowed to be stretched a little bit. Even still, they are super cruel, especially when you find out about Miss Honey. Honestly, it took me back to read this in the book and it was slightl...

Re: Matilda: Chapter 7 - Chapter 11

The first day of class always makes me anxious, but this last one was the worst for me because I had been on a leave of absence for an entire year. Going back was terrifying, but it all ended up being fine. I have definitely had my share of good and bad teachers, mostly good thankfully. I think what...

Re: Matilda: Chapter 1 - Chapter 6

Like Vanessa, I was also bullied growing up because I was smarter than others, but Matilda just makes things work for her in her own little way. I was making comparisons between Matilda's family and Harry Potter's. Although Matilda has a bit more freedom than Harry did growing up, their fami...
