Re: mIRC won't let me in

Kaitlyn, I also encountered this problem. I would just try again to open the mIRC. Sometimes, it would work where the "Exit" becomes "Continue" again and I get to log in to IRC again BUT most of the time, I would wait for one day to a few days (this happens more) before I can log...

The cheers of the crowd
"Ireland! Ireland! Ireland! Ya!"
Will went in, scoring!
But a blurb of scarlet robes
Cody! It's him, everyone!

Re: April Workshop - Aurelia

There is a consistency to the message of the haikus and tankas - that of hope and dream at the beginning but having sadness and pain in the end. The message is delivered well in the poems. I cannot help but hope that you are okay, Aure. Haha! I love the internal discussions of the mind in the two ha...

Re: May Workshop - Aurelia

Aure! This is a well-crafted villanelle. The descriptions are written with many details. The repeated lines are not an overkill, it is still pleasing to the ears even though it is repeated many times in the poem. The rhymes are also well-thought of. And the length of the lines is of good length, not...

May Workshop - Sirius

Mars is bright tonight! That's what he said He can't be right. Mars is nowhere in sight He continued instead, Mars is bright tonight! It is just moonlight There is nothing red He can't be right. He is getting tight His words, repeated Mars is bright tonight! Does he want a fight? Because in my head,...

Re: March Workshop - Aurelia

Aure, well done! The idea of the complexity of having, organizing, and making use of the thoughts inside our head is well portrayed. It is also perfect that a free verse poem is utilized to show this complexity. I loved the ending where the ideas just slipped away, unused. It provides a challenge of...

April Workshop - Sirius

Brown eyes begging me
Black nose sniffing here and there
His white tail wagging
To open the door or not?
Shall I get the leash or not?

March Workshop - Sirius

Lumos! A ball of light shines
Orchideous! Radiant flowers as well
The room smelled like a garden

Tarantallegra! My friends dance
Mobiliarbus! Christmas trees, too!
It was a fun-filled party for everyone

Nox! The lights are out
Colloportus! The door is locked
One happy memory tonight.

Re: February Workshop - Aurelia

Aure! The poem is well written and it is overflowing with imageries. The sound of the poem is refreshing. The terms used are pleasant to the ears. You used rhymes, even rhymes used in two different stanzas, portraying the whole poem as one stanza. It united the poem more. As for the meaning, it is v...

February Workshop - Sirius

Howling in the dark of the night
A lone wolf searching for solitude
Following a faint point of light
Unsure but still felt gratitude

The light around brightened
As the sad darkness retreated
Slowly the patronus faded
In the light it is not needed.

Re: Disney Discussion #4

Just like the answer of Hannah, I also think that Oliver is not being ungrateful to Dodger and his gang. He is confused at the beginning, being in the package and not knowing what is happening. There is the fear that he is feeling that contributed to him being uneasy towards the group. It is a big d...
