Re: What’s your Myers-Briggs personality type??

I am also INFP. *high fives Joey, Leonie, and Reggy* I took the same test Arianna did - although I seem to have gotten the opposite result. xD Mind - 71% Introverted Energy - 65% Intuitive Nature - 72% Feeling Tactics - 76% Prospecting I did take this test a few months ago and I remember getting the...

Re: Snitch Reschedules

Hi! If it's not too short notice and there's enough time to find a ref and official, Scarlet and I would like to have our match on Monday August 8 12 am HOL (Sunday August 7 at 7 pm EST) Or even an hour after, if that's easier?

Thanks!

Mattie vs Sirius [Wed 7/27 5 PM HOL]

We would like to reschedule to the same time, but a later date... I'm still trying to figure out a good date that I can make, so we'll get back to you guys on that.

Re: Snitch Sign-Up

I'm in! And Kim, if you ever want to practice, I'd be happy to help out with reffing/playing/offering advice or whatever you need - and I'm sure a lot of other people would be too. :) As long as I'm not out of town or something at the time, and unless things change, I usually can be available from a...

Congrats Kim and Polaris! Can't wait to see where you take things!

And thanks for the work you've done as head, as well, Scarlet!
Even if I haven't been the best about keeping up with HOLLERS things...
I'll try to be better about that. ><

Re: Reality TV

I used to watch Dancing with the Stars with my mom, but haven't really been into it as much the past few seasons. I do still watch clips occasionally, though, just for fun, or if someone I recognize and like is on the show. Or for Disney night, which is always fun to watch. Then there's a couple of ...

Re: Which fandom's universe would you like to visit?

... because who wouldn't want a wand to create magic with?! Okay, yeah... I guess it's hard to argue with that, haha. Most books (or at least a good portion) I read take place in dystopian societies and frankly, I wouldn't want to end up in the majority of them so coming up with something else is d...

Re: Favorite Real Life Class

I absolutely loved my English classes in high school. My 9th/11th grade teacher was more serious about things, so I guess I liked those classes for the "proper" reasons, haha. My 10th/12th grade classes (with the same teacher) had so many fun moments, though. For one, we were encouraged to add a cov...

Which fandom's universe would you like to visit?

I suppose we're all already pretending to be part of Harry Potter's world in a way, but what about stepping right into the books and visiting the wizarding world for real? To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I'd enjoy it that much? As much as I enjoy reading HP, watching the movies, etc. there are d...

Closing Ceremony

Hm. Possibly that last game of Cascade took the extreme weather conditions a bit too far, as it blew Arielle and me so far off course, we're only just now back to wrap things up! It was really great seeing everyone show off their creativity on the forum or come out for our weekly matches - especiall...

For our final forum discussion, we'd like to hear everyone's favorite Quidditch memory! Re: Week 9 - Stitchstock

Unfortunately, Stichstock week has come to a close. Or well, I suppose that's actually fortunate if you've been suckered into being a bladder-guardian... but I digress. Thanks to everyone who came out to play! Thomas Lewis, Kathren Johnsun, Will Lestrange, Ivelisse Ada, Allyson Celestra, Prof. Cody ...

Week 9 - Bring Back our... Bladder-Guardians?

It's hard to believe that Stichstock died out in the 14th century. Obviously it's still occasionally played - we're playing it, after all - but the world as a whole seems to have moved on to games where being impaled is less likely. As far as I'm concerned, as long as the bladder-guardian is given s...

Week 8 - Quodpot

Week 8's broom game is Quodpot ! Abraham Peasegood invented Quodpot after an incident during his trip to the United States, in which he was tossing around a quaffle he brought with him and it exploded in his face! Turns out, his wand and quaffle had come in contact with each other in his luggage and...
