Re: Week 1-What Brings you Here?

Hello everyone! I'm Limine and I'm a Ravenclaw Professor! Back in 2007 I found Harry Potter trivia on a different website. Through the people I met there I was introduced to an online quidditch game through another Harry Potter website in 2009. I absolutely loved playing that quidditch and I met som...

Re: So You Think You Can Dance?

I watch! I watch! I never watch it live though and it always takes forever to be posted online. I hate waiting :( I've liked Fik-Shun in the past and wanted to root for him, but unfortunately I can't say him and Dassy are one of my favorites at this time. Tap has always been the style of dance that ...

Favorite Candy

With trick-or-treat happening on Friday where I live and Saturday where my parents live, I've had candy on my mind a lot lately! What is everyone's favorite candy? Sometimes I'm in a chocolate-y mood and want something like a Mars Bar, but other times I want something fruity like Starburst. It usual...

Re: The Shannara Chronicles

My husband and I just watched this on Netflix. I have never read the books, but if they follow the trend of the books being better I may have to read them, because I LOVED the show. It was very well directed, and I felt that they reasonably covered issues other dystopian shows have failed at. Did y...

Re: Outlander

I've watched every single episode at least 3 times and I'm almost done with the fourth book. The first season followed the first book extremely well. I can only count on one hand the number of larger differences that I remember and I completely understand why they were done to make it work for telev...

Re: Alte BINGO 2016 - A Creative Writing Challenge

Does "pick your poison free choice" mean an article of anything you like? And how does one achieve Bingo? Hi Amanda! Pick your poison does in fact mean you can write a story about anything you'd like. To achieve Bingo you need to get five in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

Downton Abbey

I'm FINALLY getting around to watching this show and I absolutely love it! I spent the first season trying to decide which sister I related to the most (probably Sybil) and trying to not think OMG McGonagall every time I saw Maggie Smith. I also spent a seasons in love with Matthew Crawley and as a ...

Re: Presenting an Author - Diana Gabaldon

I saw previews for the TV show when it first came out and it looked like something I would really enjoy. Since then I have obsessively watched the TV show, watching each episode at least twice and sometimes upwards of six or seven times. I have tried to convince most all of RQT to watch the show.. >...

Re: Unable to edit signature.

Hello again all. I'd like to add a signature, but I can't figure out how to do so. I read the following in Ask a Prefect: "go to 'My Controls' and under 'Personal Profile' and click on 'Edit Signature'." I don't seem to have an "Edit Signature" option. Anyone know why that could...

Re: Thoughts on the play

Also the trolley witch bit on top of the train was great! Her extending fingernails were scary as hell though! This was one of the things I was struggling with while reading the play. I wasn't too fond of that whole bit.. it just seemed really weird to me. I'm glad to hear that it was actua...

Re: Initial Thoughts

The play was actually inconsistent with the series. In the series, you can't change the past, because every change you make has already happened. In the Prisoner of Azkaban, everything Hermione and Harry did had already happened, it wasn't like Buckbeak died and Harry and Hermione went back...

August 20: 3rd place match
August 21: Championship

The teams for these games aren't listed yet. While I can figure out who is playing in each match, I was wondering which team is A and which team is B?

Re: Initial Thoughts

@ February I definitely agree that those are beautiful moments (omg I love them so much!!!), and for me they make up for the fan-fiction-y aspects of some things. I do also kind of agree that it's making up to Slytherins because we're presented with truly good Slytherin characters in...

Re: Initial Thoughts

I didn't sleep much Friday night because I was trying to reread the entire series before I read this book. I had only just started Deathly Hallows, so I was up reading really late. Sooo... I accidentally fell asleep around 3 am in the middle of reading Cursed Child, but I'm done now!! Andddd... I do...

Re: Pokemon Go

I play Pokemon Go but I haven't really gotten into it. I am only level three, and so far it seems to me that all you really do is log on every once in a while and see if there is a Pokemon you can catch (more often than not there's not) plus you can hatch eggs? Also, I don't really understand the '...

Pokemon Go

I was just thinking how crazy it is that there isn't a topic about this considering how popular it is! I was working/teaching at a summer camp this summer and it was fantastic watching all the kids leave the dorm in the evenings to go on walks around campus to go to Pokestops and catch Pokemon. One ...

Re: Questions?

On the snitch schedule it has dates such as Sun 8/6, Mon 8/7, and Tues 8/8. The actual dates in August are Sun 8/7, Mon 8/8, and Tues 8/9. Is the day of the week or date correct for these matches? Also, random question, but why are the matches in a random order? Is there a purpose to it that I'm not...
